I'm in the library and holding back laughter the best I can. Funny funny stuff!! I always thought Piazza was smarter than that. It's nice to see the power blog reemerge.
Are you using the Major Problems book in your current course? If not, I'd like to borrow yours again sometime, copy the Korean War section, and write a blog on it. I'll, hopefully also, have a review on the HIST 327 before Summer One Session is over. C-Ya.

I feel your pain... I am a Red Sox fan and apparantly Curt Schilling, the savior of the BoSox, and the anti-Ruth, is an ardent "W" supporter.
How do you know Schilling is a Bush fan?

It seems that many big money ball-players are hard core Republicans…..Yogi Berra, Tom Seaver, Rafael Palmeiro, Nolan Ryan.

Surprisingly, Mr, Steinbrenner (the head of the supposed evil empire) likes to give more than half his offerings to the Dems…This proves that Yankee fans are the real patriots and that Red Sox and Mets fans are the ones who are misguided.
I've seen Piazza say some smart things about the history of American Government on TV. I never would have imagined him viewing Limbaugh as credible. I tune in to him occasionally because I think he's humerous.
I didn't hear your story about Rocker, but would like to. I'll admit, the guy's a wacky weirdo but still don't think he should have been suspended for his comments. He didn't break any rules. His unofficial banishment from baseball is unfortunate because he could probably still perform at a high level. My Phillies need all the bullpen help they can get.
How the Hell did you figure out it was me? Did Mr. MacLeod tell you?

Liz: One other thing. Help solidify Mr. MacLeod's happy face at www.ratemyprofessor.com. My last rate brought him out of of the face with no expression catagory.

Liz, aka "published Rocker critic", that's a great story!
Even though I disagree with almost all Prof. Macleod's opinions (at least the ones on politics & religion!), I'm a member of his fan club, too. He's a very open-minded, fair person & I always enjoy chewing the fat with him.
Prof. Bowles
It's funny how a conversation on George Washington and Rush Limbaugh can ignite such an extensive interest in John Rocker.
